Bisley Lane Farm Meats wins 4 golds!
Our lovely free range meat suppliers (produce ending machine & Treat Tuesday) Bisley Lane Farm have only gone and won 4 golds in the Taste of the West Food Awards. Treat Tuesday just got bigger!
Armadeli will be joining us with a selection of cheeses and also some of the The Cotswold Grocer’s fruit and vegetables. Note: There will be no treat Tuesday on the 30th of May due to the Bank Holiday.
First silage cut
After a tricky and expensive winter, with very little of our own silage to feed the cows due to the drought, we were relieved to do the first silage cut of 2023. We’ve collected heaps (literally) of grass!
New stock in the vending machine
We’ve got some Quicke’s Mature Cloth Bound Cheddar, Miller’s Damsel Gluten-free Charcoal Square Crackers, Miller’s Damsel Buttermilk Wafers, Cornish Charcuterie Duck Liver Pate and Cornish Charcuterie Herby Chicken Liver Pate in the produce vending machine this week.
£380.80 raised & Farms for City Children is our new charity
Thank you to all of our customers, you have raised £380.80 for Whitminster Primary School library project. The new charity for the next quarter is Farms for City Children. Wick Court – a Farms for City Children Farm, is a local farm, one of three that gives children, who do not have the opportunity to get into the countryside, the experience of ‘life on a farm’.
