Buckinghen Palace = more hens = more eggs
We’ve built the new hen house aka ‘Buckinghen Palace’. This week some new hens arrived on the farm. In the coming weeks we will have more eggs available. The eggs are put out in the vending shed first thing in the morning but they sell quickly!

Bottle brushes
We are now selling bottle brushes in the vending shed. They’re long enough to easily reach the bottom of our milk bottles and have a little flexibility to get round the edges. £4 each on an honesty system – cash only.

LEAF Open Farm Sunday
Tomorrow is LEAF Open Farm Sunday on many farms in the UK including us at Stonehouse Milk aka Horsemarling Farm. We are a family farm, founded by us, John and Jenny in March 2021, we do not have a team of staff, it’s just us and our 3 boys. We are often joined by a retired gentleman who gives us his time and knowledge and Dan who milks a couple of times a week with us. Tomorrow the milk shake

Please stick to paths in our fields
Please can people kindly keep to the paths in our fields. We have a crop growing in fields behind Maidenhill School and today a lady was photographed standing in middle of crop allowing her dogs to run through the crop terrifying the wild deer in the field. Thank you.

£406 raised for Leonard Stanley School
5p of every litre of milk sold goes to a local charity. From when we opened in February to the end of April the charity we (and you) supported was FOLSS (Friends of Leonard Stanley school). You raised £406! Thank you. The next charity that Stonehouse Milk will be supporting is Stonehouse Park Federation PTA. From the beginning of May to the end of July 5p of every litre sold will go to supporting this great cause.

We have eggs!
We now have our own farm fresh eggs daily. 24 of our girls are laying with more to follow. First thing every morning I will put out the eggs. £1.50 for half dozen, cash in honesty box on wall. Please return boxes or bring your own.
