Supporting Whitminster Primary School’s library project

The new charity for this quarter is Whitminster Primary School library project. 5p from every litre of milk sold through the vending machine over February, March and April will go to Whitminster primary school. The previous charity was DEBRA the butterfly skin charity. Our milk customers raised £300 which will go towards helping to find a cure for this extremely painful genetic skin blistering condition EB. Thank you!

Stonehouse Milk Standish Woodland Chase. Fresh, local, free range milk.

We are hosting the Standish Woodland Chase

On Sunday the 7th August we will be hosting the Stroud Athletics Club’s Standish Woodland Chase, a 10 mile multi-terrain race. We will have Salt Bakehouse and The Coffee Lada on the farm. The race starts at 10am, last year the winner was back in under an hour! Come along meet some calves, cheer the runners on whilst enjoying cake, coffee and milkshakes, 16 flavours to choose from. Off road parking available.

LEAF Open Farm Sunday

Tomorrow is LEAF Open Farm Sunday on many farms in the UK including us at Stonehouse Milk aka Horsemarling Farm. We are a family farm, founded by us, John and Jenny in March 2021, we do not have a team of staff, it’s just us and our 3 boys. We are often joined by a retired gentleman who gives us his time and knowledge and Dan who milks a couple of times a week with us. Tomorrow the milk shake

£406 raised for Leonard Stanley School

5p of every litre of milk sold goes to a local charity. From when we opened in February to the end of April the charity we (and you) supported was FOLSS (Friends of Leonard Stanley school). You raised £406! Thank you. The next charity that Stonehouse Milk will be supporting is Stonehouse Park Federation PTA. From the beginning of May to the end of July 5p of every litre sold will go to supporting this great cause.

We have eggs!

We now have our own farm fresh eggs daily. 24 of our girls are laying with more to follow. First thing every morning I will put out the eggs. £1.50 for half dozen, cash in honesty box on wall. Please return boxes or bring your own.
